Cheat coffee art @ 22:44  So I went to sent my Aunt's flight the other day and we were having Starbucks before she board the plane. I ordered a vanilla latte and oh-boy was I surprised to be presented with a sweet heart with my coffee. I've never had coffee art on my coffee from Starbucks. While looking through the photos on my iphone the other day, I chanced upon this photo which I took that day which suddenly triggered my craving for a nice cup of coffee. Plus, it was an exceptionally nice day after months of cold weather. But of course I am no match for even a beginner barista, so how on earth could I brew myself a nice cup of vanilla latte, not even mentioning the heart! Adding to my misery, the only coffee I can find in my cabinet are packets of Nescafe Latte Caramel. That is good enough I guess, but I wanted a heart on my coffee too and guess what? Ta-dah! I have it!  BTS to my cheat coffee art:  2. Pour your coffee powder into your coffee mug ["You don't say?".."ok.ok..step 3"] 3. Make your coffee as usual by adding boiling water 4. Place your cut out ❤ shape paper over your cup of coffee 5. Sprinkle cinnamon over the hollowness of the cut out ❤ 6. There! Your nice cup of coffee with a ❤! Did you feel cheated? Haha Better than nothing right? Go make your "coffee art" now! (: |
